Music had always been part of Markus’s life. Electronic music was the exception: for years, he dismissed it before giving himself the chance to hear it differently. Discovering it in 2015 changed that. What had seemed closed became an invitation to explore.

Oso’s musical language is predominantly electronic, moving through house, techno, melodic and progressive sounds, organic grooves, afro house, funk and disco. Those are possibilities, not a checklist. What matters is the connection between one moment and the next, and the people listening together.

His earlier work as an entrepreneur, presenter and host gave him years in front of people. With Oso Blanco, his intention is to make more room for the music. The pleasure is in becoming absorbed in a track, sharing that feeling and allowing an unexpected turn to make sense.
