Music & movement

Make room to move. Make room to listen.

A musical invitation to be present, follow your own movement and meet an unfamiliar sound with curiosity. Explore an Ecstatic Dance journey or a sober rave, each shaped for the gathering you are creating.

Ecstatic Dance: a journey with space to unfold.

For an Ecstatic Dance event, discuss a musical arc that supports your community’s way of gathering. Pacing, opening and closing moments, facilitation and the boundaries of the space should work together. Oso provides the musical journey; the organiser’s approach to hosting and facilitation is agreed separately.

Sober rave: the dance floor on its own terms.

A sober rave can centre on the energy and shared pleasure of an alcohol-free dance floor without adopting an Ecstatic Dance format. Tell us about the sound, pace and atmosphere you want to create. We will discuss how the music can serve it and how you want to communicate the event’s policies.

An invitation, without a prescribed way to feel.

You do not need to know a genre or move like anyone else to take part. The invitation is to listen, notice and respond in your own way. For organisers, that begins with a clear conversation about your audience, setting, duration and the experience you want to host.

Tell us about your community.

Share the format, location and preferred date, along with any facilitation, accessibility or sound requirements. The music and practical arrangements will be discussed personally.
